A previous owner installed an amp and aftermarket stereo system. Since then, the stuff has been taken out and replaced (more or less) with the stock stuff (with a gaping hold in the center console where the tape player was).
Before i bought this protege, I test drove a protege where the speakers made a hum/whine sound that increased in frequency with engine rpm--just electrical noise, i thought.
My car is doing the same thing, so I don't know if it's related to the previous aftermarket stereo system + amp setup, or if proteges just have electrical issues like this.
Does anyone else have this on their car? If so, what is causing it and how can it be solved easily?
