Hoser is a term the Mckenzie brothers used. Bob & Doug; played by Rick Moranis / Dave Thomas) from 'The Great White North' - their TV show, kind of like Wayne's World. They were on Second City TV. They did a movie: "Strange Brew" (funny as hell). Their pastime was drinking beer and eating donuts.
