Help me find these wheels!

I've been trying to find a certain set of wheels for a few days now. I have no idea what company made them or anything, but they were either 17" or 18" with a real deep lip and six (maybe 5, but I think 6) spokes. The thing that really struck me was just how clean they looked. No little quirky machining things, just real nice clean spokes with a really cool looking lip. Anybody have any clue what I'm talkin about?

You just described a rather large selection of rims. Do you have a pic, or at least know where you saw them? Remember: a dectective needs clues.

I think they would look nice on your car in a darker finish.

honestly for the most clean look throughout the whole wheel with a company that specializes in deep dish I would think of HRE right away, talk about dropping a fortune on the rims alone, but they are jaw dropping to look at.....

See that's my problem. I dont have any pictures. I saw the car on the street. Hey I know!! Anyobdy play NFS Underground? There are a set of level 1 rims that are very similair to what I'm tryin to find. The spokes are flat and pretty thick, just going from the center of the wheel to the outside in striahg lines, but getting slightly thicker as they go up. They dont bend either side to side or outwards. This might not help alot, but hopefull the NFS thing will

Those are EXTREMELY close to what I was looking at. I like those a lot actually. The ones I was thinking of had a bigger lip though. The spokes were almost directly in the middle of the wheel. But what kind are those, out of curiosity?

there's a set for sale in the for sale forums, but they're four lug.

That's the NFS underground wheel. It was just like that except the spokes went out and joined without those little bolts. Those and the ugly center cap take away form these I think. I really like those ones posted by citizenpro though.

Also the Racinhart one piece CX is ******* nutterific.

Now that I think about these wheels on our car, it seems like they would stick out alot, dont you guys think?I mean with the lip going three inches past the studs, it would stick out three inches past the fender. I dont know how the dude I saw got around that, but I'm sure I'm not gonna invest tons of money to mavoe the hubs back or whatever I need to do to make them fit right. Those C5's are nice, but I'm probably gonna end up getting black wheels with a polished lip, and that center cap n the black wheels really dont do it for me.


So, after all your help, my curiosity is laid to rest but I'm no closer to finding my perfect wheels. Thanks guys, I appreciate it.
