heard a wierd noise from the engine bay

So I was driving the other night and I stepped on the gas and took off pretty hard/fast and from the initial take off It sounded like a weird crack from the left side of the engine bay near the left side rear well... Iono it it could have been something frozen and I jsut cracked it or what.. But It made me wonder what it was..

I have my corksport motor mount inserts I still need to install. But I was thinking of waiting to install untill I got new mounts??

Your TMIC hitting the black plastic on the back of the engine bay.
Look for cracks/scratches.

thats what i was gonna say is if your on a stock mount, its your engine hitting the firewall, or the intercooler

The corksport inserts won't fit any other mount, unless you are talking about getting new side mounts.
