so I know this may be a stupid question, but if I get an answer I would be more than happy.
I bought an aftermarket HID kit for my P5 when I turned 22 and installed it right away. I'm now 28 and have had the kit on for 5 years. My issue is that I got pulled over and got a warning to change my headlights because they are illegal. I bought some basic bulbs to put back in my car but I haven't changed a regular bulb in a long time. I think I'm missing a piece unfortunately. What I have right now is in this order, 1)bulb 2)hinge bracket 3) rubber dust cover 4) white wiring harness. If I'm correct, am I missing a piece that attaches to the bulb itself and has the wiring harness plug into that?
I've looked online and I have read the installation instructions on the forum but it's pretty basic (obviously which a headlight bulb installation is, I feel ridiculous on here asking). Any help would be most appreciated.
