I tried to gun it through the snow when the engine was still too cold I think. Sometimes I wish I still had my Eclipse GSX.

why would you do that? That shouldn't cause a CEL anyway, have you had your intake runner valve adjusted or your purge valve replaced.

Nope, haven't had my intake runner valve adjusted or purge valve replaced. My car only had 889 miles on it when I started it this morning and the light came on. I only noticed the light after I couldn't make the right turn b/c of the snow. When I take my car in, I'm gonna make sure to right down the mileage on the ODO!!!

I got the same exact thing! On the way to work, but I have 5K miles and it's the firts time it's happened so I'm not really that upset.

Ok, my CEL went away yesterday. She's schizophrenic!!! Are those cheap OBDII computers you can buy for <$500 or so worth it ya think?

Even the thought of having to go in for warranty work is a pain the ass to me.

It's almost definitely the manifold switch. You'll need the new one, if your dealer has one yet.

I knew I should have kept my mouth shut. The minute I say it's off, the damn thing comes back on again. I'll call the service dept. tomorrow and see what they know.
