well, I guess if hidtech.com wants to deal with us then we people at least have a choice to go with higher quality retrofit (which cost more) or from other company like APR etc (cost a lot less) to buy a one piece projector headlight w/o sending the headlights away. But I am sure some people on the list are looking for a higher quality retrofit, and if hidtech.com are interested, maybe we can at least bring down the retrofit prices. coz' right now from hidtech.com it is costing about $800.00....

im not necessarily looking for retrofit, like eurolite makes the entire headlight unit including relays and harness and the projector headlights. similar to the accord unit in this link but with black instead of regular chrome.

correct. the retro fit is out there if someone wants it. we want one piece halo projectors offered in black and chrome housing. Dual projectors is what most like best, then triple.p5sundevil said:

i will email toucan industries tonight since they are the contact for eurolite and will link them to this thread and everything, I am hoping eurolite steps up for us since their sister company ractive has been puting alot of RD into p5 parts. Plus Eurolite used a mazda6 for their show car last few shows so they definately have interest in mazda.
More than likely a company that does accept the offer to make these for us would probably need someone to donate their headlights for the mold.

the 99-00 and o1+ thing is only half a problem, its only half in that almost any company making a new product will this will only back date the models they make it for for so far.
What I mean is seince the 01+ models are obvioulsy newer they will be the first a company would be willing to do. the 99-00 people might have a harder time.
Unless you mean the difference in headlights where some have 1 bulb setup and some have 2 for hi and low beam. Then it would mean converting for those that didnt have the setup for the new product already.

i like my front end though...
... if or when i get a newer car.. if it is a protege i am swaping front ends so i can keep my body kit i have now.. i just like the look of the 2000 headlights..i like how they have the big bubble turn light... Hid turn lights would be good for it... lol
