Well said. Everyone's looking for 1 person to blame, and Bush happens to be it right now. It's amazing how short-sighted alot of people are, and how much they can believe one sentence out of an hour and a half speech (aka- sound clips and headlines are all people pay attention to). Look a little deeper, don't take the easy route, and you can find the truth.

BTW- I think that pic of them fishing is funny. And I DON'T hate Bush. I like Bush. Bush is good.

I'M OH SO CURIOUS. GOOD AT WHAT?

Good at driving the country backwards, good at lying to Americans and starting bogus wars, good at taking away Constitutional rights, good at advancing the ultra-consrvative religious rights views on everyone... need any more?

Wow, is that real? I haven't seen that picture on the internet ever. Wow!!!

I guess it is trendy to bash Bush. People just regurgitate what they hear on TV. Oh well.

PLEASE BE ADVISED: THE FOLLOWING IS ONLY MY ASSHOLE OPINION (headbang)

Let me first say, I'm no politician(nor would I ever want to be one), I have no political agenda or party affiliation. I do think it is a trend, but not because it is trendy. People are pissed. Pissed about this BOGUS war in Iraq, pissed about energy prices, pissed about the bad response to Katrina, pissed about the federal deficit, pissed about the trade deficit, pissed about the number of people living in poverty rising(aka: The elimination of the middle class)... well you name it, people are pissed.

The Bush family has long been locked in a permanent 69 (blowjob) position with big corporate money and it's starting to show.

They don't give a s*** about you or me, what color you are or where you live. They only care about where their next million is coming from.

Now, I'm not suggesting that there is a "perfect politician". But these ******* clowns in Washington are the absolute worst this country has ever seen. And the scariest thing is that they have 3 more years left to inflict major damage.

Now, there are a bunch of people crying for W's impeachment, but you know what that would give us?

President Dick Cheney.. OH NOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!

(deep breath) O.K., I'm done ;) for now.......

At least your opinions are educated. I respect that.

I wonder if it will ever be possible for a President to be totally non partisan, not into soft money, no political agenda other than doing what is right. Maybe that is a dream.

My Turn.
-I am cheesed that terrorists DARED to strike my homeland. It took a war in IRAQ to make it an 'away game'. (I served.)

-Energy prices? Hello! A natural disaster occured (or was that the prez's fault too? ;) which has crippled oil production and refinement. The worst isn't over yet.

-You know how i feel about the 'response' - i am glad so many Americans (78% at last count) are donating time and/or money to relief.

-Pissed about poverty? Money can't make you happy. Store up your treasures in Heaven where neither rust, nor moth, nor thieves can get at it. My promise is that you will get what you NEED. Everyday. -God

[end rant]

;peace;

-Ask yourself why we went to war with Iraq and have only captured Saddam? Could it be because he tried to kill older Bush. You cant tell me Bin laden is that great of a hider.

-A crisis thats right I wasnt paying over $1.50a gallon before Katrina....(scratch) Wait yes we were and now more s*** hits the fan. Seems to me our oil loving president isnt hating the high cost of gas seen as its padding his pocket.

-I dont think you can blame one person for the lack of response to Katrina. Its a group disaster.

-Poverty? Lets talk about health care cost! Seen as no politician has to pay a dime for it why would they know or care that its a huge problem? And money cant make you happy but the lack of it sure can make your life very hard!

go easy on the guy... he could have posted this one.

do you really think the cost of gas in the United States is _that_ expensive? have you done a comparison to other countries?

I agree that you can't blame one person or any group of person for that matter, for a NATURAL DISASTER!

I don't pay a dime for my health insurance either. my company pays 100%. is that my fault? sorry if I have made myself more successful than others, I shouldn't have to pick up their slack.

Yeah.. you're right. It's 17 cents a gallon in Venezuela...
The prices are'nt going up in Canada and Mexico like they are here. Why do you think we're getting smacked up?
Wake up!

Lets be rational here guys.

It is like 30 cents per gallon in Kuwait. That is just the way it is. Oil producing countries do and should have cheap ass gas. Your point is not really valid. (no disrespect (eek2) )

The US is an oil producing country.... It's just too bad ever soccer mom needs to drive the largest SUV they can get their hands on. This increases demand for a limited resource...and well you all know the rest.

Yep, every 1 needs an H2! (aka Soccer Mom Assault Vehicle) Those things have the aerodynamic properties of a brick...

More successful? What you said just means you dont own your own business and you are working for someone else that has made THEMSELVES more successful than you and can afford to cover you. Nothing wrong with that, but when a small business owner has to shell out $2,500 or more a month for health insurance something needs to be done.

I agree its crazy over there. But why has our gas shot up somemuch so quick? You cant tell me the demand has skyrocketed as quickly as the price has(hi)

Demand did skyrocket...the oil company's demand for your money. Why else did the big oil companies go out of their way to close down something like 17 oil refineries in the last 15 years. If there is more production capacity they can't lie to the american people by saying that they are unable to produce more fuel because they can't build more refineries.

how many times do i have to say... its because 15% of gasoline refinery capacity CLOSED... and when refiners close and people STILL use gas, guess what... WE RUN LOW ON INVENTORY!... so prices go up so demand goes down! derr
