eleventy-billion g.mail invites...

its 1gb of space, which apparently means alot, or something. (jerkit)

I still dont see the big deal.

one gig or not, you still have to download a file...correct?

and the "storage" archive that you're talking about really doesn't do dick.

seriously, its like hotmail, except faster, with some nice perks, and a lot of space. big whoop.

I agree... tons of storage... but s***.. everyone is 100mb these days... if you need more that that for MAIL then you have no life outside the interweb

if you are transfering files then just get a friggen ftp

i know, i'll still take my POP3 where i can download 120 gigs of email to my hard drive, if i should choose to do so.

Because you can only get it by being invited. It makes people think their a part of something exclusive. But they're not (at least not anymore).

I use it because it's fast and free.

thank you.

its not like this one gig is some offsite storage site that you can link people to so you can be uber-leet-warez-master.

its ******* mail.

1 gb of storage and no privacy whatsoever with it. No thx google read someone elses emails

well i think my 160 gig harddrive is all the storage i need, plus i like hotmail, and thats the address everyone has,
i see one good thing for gmail.. use it as you spam account, send all undwanted mail there..

I got one...still haven't used it.

Don't like the interface, and I already have an hotmail account for spam.

As for large attachments, well, I'm a lan admin, so I get whatever size I want from our own server :)

well, i got a hotmail and a gmail, and I'll just say 1Gb beats the pants off of 2MB, which is constantly full.

Not to mention the way that Hotmail will fux0r any links in your emails, so that it is redirected through their servers.

oh, and the fact that the delete button in hotmail is not compatibale with firefox. MS is unfriendly to competition...

I use imap for everything, hell, I even fetch my stupid lame ISP's pop3 box into a imap box on my personal servers, but I'm still curious about gmail. So someone hook me up. And yes, I am allowed to cross-post. PM me or see the "contact us" button at the far button for my email address.... arr.
