Wow once again the US gets the shaft. Notice how much nicer the 2012 and newer generation Mz5 looks without those dumb and ugly "Nagare" body lines.

NICE! Thanks for posting. And yes, don't get me started on what the US doesn't get vs. the rest of the world. I'm particularly pissed that Mazda has relegated the 6-speed manual to the bottom-of-the-line model... which doesn't even get the 17" wheels anymore. Seriously, Mazda... the more you try to "Americanize" things, the more you push us away. You should adopt a new rallying cry... and chant "Remember the Mazda 6" every time you want to tailor something to the "American" market. Just give us what you give the rest of the world...

Yep, pretty lame... fyi, the rest of the world gets 16" wheels on their lower models as well. And you'll just have to come up to Canada to get a 6 speed manual option on the top of the line GT!
Also... at least we get 2.5 litre engines (2012) and 2.3's on the older models... the rest of the world gets the options of a 1.8 or 2.0 litre gas or a 1.6 diesel. If you think it's low on power now, try throwing a 1.8 in there... ha!
