Eibach camber bolts question

Hey guys,

Just wondering does anyone have a review on these? Specifically for the protgs. Right now I'm running tokico blues with tein s tech springs. I have aftermarket wheels with 17x7 +42 off offset in the rear and I rub very slightly over bigger bumps.

I was hoping to get some eibach camber bolts so I can add a bit of negative camber, just enough to not rub.

Would these work? Part 5.81250K. Going through the description the protege is listed as compatibile but I was just to make sure.

From my research, it seems like all the camber bolts for the P5 are made from the same manufacturer, Specialty Products. https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned) for the front of my car. Much cheaper, and have been holding fine even with R compound tires.


I've got them front and rear. Ive had them on for nearly a year now with no complaints. Mine havent slipped at all and i can get pretty close to -2 degress out of them.

I would however recommend getting these over those because of price. They are literally the same part.

Thanks guys! Nice to get some feedback, i just bought the SPC ones just because shipping would've ended up the same for Canada. Did you guys have to use any camber gauge to measure or did you guys just eyeball it? and what torque specs did you guys use to tighten the bolts?
 
I went to the hardware store and bought a 12" digital level that gives a degree readout. Its also magnetic. To get a fairly accurate reading, i would jack up the car and put it up on jackstands on my level garage floor. Then stick the level to the brake rotor and adjust accordingly. highly recommend getting one of these levels. There about $30 and have many uses.

There are torque specs on the box, I dont remember what they were. I went slightly above that number just for a little slippage protection.
 
Camber should be measured with all four wheels on the ground as the droop in the suspension will change the reading slightly depending on the suspension setup your running.
 
and if you want to be even more accurate, ask the tech to let you sit in the vehicle while is done.

some tech can compansate when the drive is absent
