ECU Flash Eligibility???

Ok,

So I am a little concerned now. I am modded (FMIC, AWR Rad, Magnus Exhaust, Plugs, and of course a MBC).

This is NOT considered Warranty is it??? A TSB is NOT warranty right? I am entitled to this no matter what?

Will someone please provide som re-assurance so I am not left in the dust by EVERY MSP known to mankind?

Regardless of what modifications you have, they cant refuse you anything unless they can prove your mod broke it. Yes, everyone can get it.

"A while back I called about a hesitation problem with my MSP.... one of the service techs said there was an ECU updating coming out which will fix it and I found out yesterday that the ECU update is available.... I'd like to set up an appointment"


If they try and deny you service talk to a service manager. Let him know this is a universal MSP problem.

If he still blows you off do a search on this forum for something concerning "user rights" or something like that..... it deals with your rights as a car buyer.

The 1996 Mustang Cobra had a TSB for the cooling system. To my knowledge none of my customers have been denied the TSB because of performance modifications to their cars.

You could always call Mazda Canada customer service, which can be done anonymously, and see what they say.
