Dash vibrating when cars in idle and ac on

I just recently bought 03 msp from a dealership and when the car was on and idling the dash was vibrating but wasn't as bad as when u turned the ac on. I asked the guy selling the car and he told me that all the cars shake like that because of the little engine it has and the turbo. I'm not a car guy but I know this isnt normal. What do you think it is?

Motor mounts

Definitely motor mounts.. If your idle is fine that is...Either your mounts are bad or your mounts have been upgraded to a more solid mount.. These cars are notorious for crappy stock motor mounts constantly breaking and just being plain old cheap. The solid replacement mounts don't absorb the vibration of the motor as well because they are a harder rubber. You can do some more research on Mounts thru this forum... Hope this helps
