I found it looking for mp3 clunk info. Probably searched on Google, but it's been a while. I was using the mazdamp3.com domain at the time but eventually started typing msprotege because it seemed easier to type. (shrug)

Since I am a fairly new owner of this car (as well as not having access to the internet for the first couple months), I didn't know any acronyms such as MSP or MSProtege. I probably just did a search for MazdaSpeed Protege and eventually ended up here. And besides not having access, I drove the car anytime I wasn't at work or sleeping.

How I found You?

Back in July I was hopping for a 03.5 Speed Protege and couldnt find one anywhere in New England. I needed a car at the time and finally settled on a 2003 Jetta 1.8. I bought the car and had a great time with it until it stared nickle and diming me. It was like every time I fixed something, something totally unrelated went wrong. I found VW vortex and began posting questions. Whatever! Then a big snowstorm hit and I wrecked it and almost simutaneously, all these MSP's started popping up. I found one that was right (Mazda Warranty still active) with reasonable miles (41k on the machine and 20 on the motor). I bought it and put two and two together (vw vortex + forums) and as soon as I got home. I ran a google search and... Bung... Dell 151... Member... 2003.5 MSP#380 in Titanium.

i was in the process of buying my msp at the time and looked at google for "mazda forums", "mazdaspeed forums" etc. to find out common problems and common modds and such. i generally liked what i saw and bought the car. now im a member on here with about 30 posts and thanks to the info on here i managed to gather almost all the modds that i wanted to achieve my goal of having a quick car and still roll in style doing so lol (cabpatch)
