Confusion about front brakes 4 lug

I have been searching around the net for info on changing my front brake pads. I am not that great of a mechanic and this will be my first time changing front disc pads. My rotors are still in decent enough condition, a little sanding and a turn should be enough. The confusion I have right now is what type of brake pads I need to order. I have a single-car subscription to alldatadiy.com and the diagrams on 4 lug front brakes indicates 2 different types of front pads, called type a and type b. The same indication is also made in diagrams for the front rotors. I was thinking one might be euro/can spec and the other being usa. Any clarification on this would be really helpful.

Also, if anybody knows of useful resources to help me learn about changing front pads and turning rotors please pass them along. I am a little nervous about doing the job myself, although I did find a reassuring cx-9 post that explained the process in layman's terms.

ps. I have several links to online parts warehouses that claim to carry OEM brake pads for my DX, am I allowed to post direct links to online shopping sites?

Thanks

yes u can post links and pics... do u have a auto zone close to u? cuz thats where i got mine for like 44 bucks all 4 of them...

if you have alot of fun on back roads make sure you get the good pads and not the cheap lifetime warranty like i did. i had a little bit of fun the other day and slowing down it didnt even want to stop from where the pads got so hot now my pedals real mushy. my .02
