Cleaned EGR, fixed vacuum leak, reset ECU... low idle when warm, high shift RPM, help

I do have a CEL and I'm not sure what the code is yet, will follow up later today w/ code.

Was prev. getting a P0300 with a dirty EGR & vacuum leak, both of those fixed. Right after I reset the ECU though is when the car started shifting @ 4000rpm from 2-3rd... Idle is low but not dropping like it used to.

How long should I allow the ECU to relearn before I get worried? BTW, this happened yesterday, and the car has barely been driven, like 10mi in the suburbs. No freeway time at all.

Oh, the CEL was there as soon as I started the car after the ECU reset, not sure if that's important.

Thanks for any feed back! This forum has helped me a bunch over the last few years (rockon)

Alright, took car for a 50mi freeway drive...

Shift points:
1-2; 2-3 = 4500RPM
3-OD = 5000rpm

Error code = P0123

Low and dropping idle, but accel is fine off the line, so vacuum leak seams unlikely to be issue.

And yes, I'll search forums regarding P0123, but please let me know if there could be something else...

Also, not sure if the trans idiot light is working or not, when going from park into gear, even at low RPM, the shift is quite hard...

grrrr...

Oh wow... just double checked my TPS.... yeah, NOT plugged in!!!!!

girlfriend taking it for a drive to see if it no longer waits till 4500rpm to shift... (headslap)
