CD skippage

The stock cd player in my P5 skips when i hit even small potholes or even sometimes lane markers. is there anything i can do to help this?

hey.

that sounds a bit strange. I have no problem at all with mine. i've had my MP5 for almost 2 years now and never had a skippage problem with the stock CD player, and I live in Australia - ie our roads suck. Even with the Eibach springs, I get no skip.

how long have you been having the skippage?

mine only skips when hauling over the extremely steep speed bumps at school or when i slam my glove box...something must be wrong with yours

thanks for the replies. id really like to just keep my stock unit, especially because it shouldnt do this. its strange, because sometimes it will skip when i hit small things like lane markers, and then it wont skip at all over speed bumps. should i give the dealership a call?

yea contact your dealership and bring it into the service shop
