Car is in for 4k audio install!

Well almost it's $3,000 and some change after it is all said and done (not including the headunit which I already purchased).
I'm dropping it off for 2-3 days tomorrow morning. They (Tweeter) is building a complete false floor in the rear. My JL 12 W6V2 will be flush mounted and the amps will be mounted behind plexi with blue neons. The floor is going to be vinyled and died to match the interior. Should be nice. I specifically asked for a particular installer at this Tweeter, as I've seen his work in the past few years. He's gotta be the best in South Jersey. You should see what this guy can do with f.glass. Anyway I'll have it back this weekend and I'll take some pics. Day and night (for showcasing neons).
Again the system is comprised of:
-JL 300/2 powering....
-6 1/2" Boston Pros in the front
-JL 500/1 powering...
-JL 12 W6V2
-Alumapro 5 farad cap
-Kenwood Exelon MP3/CD headunit

It only seconds the W7 if you've heard that. Granted I've only heard it in the sound room and it was slamming. I'll be sure to let you know by the weekend when I get the car back though! Can't wait!

Man I can't wait to see your set up, are you going to keep your spare tire or are you going to use that space for the sub/amp rack?

Just got news tonight- they couldn't do the down-ward firing route so they are going to mount the sub inverted.

Does anyone know how inverted subs sound compared to traditionally mounted subs? ...any difference at all?

I can't keep the spare because I need the depth for the amp rack in the false floor. Originially I didn't even want a false floor I just wanted to mount the amps in the spare tire well but it didn't work. There isn't enough space in our spare tire well because of the way it's shaped. It has a hump in the center of it, nullifying any quality flat space down there.
I dropped it off this morning and the final design is going to be a false floor with plexi glass opening for the amps lit by blue neon. And the sub is going to be part-of the false floor but kinda raise like a wedge towards the back where the back seats are. It's going to be a downward firing design with a large plexi cutout to display the inernals of the box, and rear of the woofer beings you wont be able to see the cone. That also will be lit by neon.
It's funny because originally I didn't want a flasy install and didn't want to loose the versitility of my hatchback. I failed at both. It was just too much gear to fit under the seats...especially beings the one relay to my 5 fared cap was too tall to mount under the seat. Thats where all the problems started. So now I'll be trunkless and spare-tireless (gotta carry fix-a-flat at all times just in case- plus a membership to AAA just in case) lol
Though in the end at least it'll be something to display here, on the forums, visually. Should be a sight to see beings overall theres gonna be 4 20" neons (blue), etced plexi, and the whole 9. Kinda hard to explain in words....just wait for the pics.
I'm just hoping this downward firing design will sound good- they assure me it will. I'm just worried becuase the slot where the bass energy is to escape is on the back of the enclosure but up against the back seat. Sounds odd...but they are the professionals. *crossing fingers*
