The trigger signal for lock and unlock is a Ground reference.
Unlock is triggered by just ground.
Lock is triggered by ground through 1.5K ohms of resistance.
So if you were to take a wire splice onto the lock/unlock wire then tap it to ground, the car would unlock. Now put a 1.5K ohm resistor on that wire and again tap it to ground and it will lock the car.
