The hot pipe and cold pipe are both separate on your car. If you add a bov, the cheapest/easiest way is to get a hard cold pipe and keep your stock hot pipe.
Why do you want to mod your car if you're not interested in learning about the car in the first place?
This puzzles me.
Anyway, I'm with everyone else that's saying to leave things alone unless you know what you're doing. Digging around in the engine bay of a MSP without being educated on its quirks is a recipe for disaster.

+1 Just read, In the msp you can not run a Vented to Atmosphere BOV with out relocating the MAF, OR running a dual valve set-up because the car will stall when you let off the gas.
Well maybe i could assist you ..There is a GB for and turbolife front mount intercooler by far the best 1 for the MSP ,and you can most likely install yourself or with a friend.

That one makes you remove your crash bar. IMHO, the best intercooler if you can find one is a MAM. But that is my opinion.
Honestly correct me wrong if I'm no matter what custom or bought . When you put an FMIC on your going to getting gains point blank period. Now I like the MAM but I think the PERRIN or turbolife is just a little more aggressive.
With that being said more GAINS(enguard)

Maybe you forgot to read this..
In conclusion, I wouldn't believe he would want to go through the effort of removing the crash bar with the Turbolife and going through all of that just to add a BOV. All he needs is a new cold pipe as stated above.

Um.... The turbolife or perrin fmic has a HUGE core that is way over kill for the msp. I love my mam kit. I bought the pipes for cheap and then I got a fmic from corksport. I really am please with my kit. but he is going to run into the price problem. So his best bet is with the AC FMIC kit.
Jen, did you know your website is messed up? on one of the kits its showing a 0.00 price until you add a flange and then it goes up to 35 bucks.

Thanks, and yup, had someone email me about that and it should be showing correctly now. The software updated itself and apparently didn't update that part correctly.
I had a MAM before making my kits, and it's designed off of the MAM. The pipe routing is similar, as well as the core size.

zack has it and he loves it. i love driving his car. once i get the msp im gunna get that also. best gains for the msp. even better than perrin.

Lol, I always thought that was funny. How can a kit made EXACTLY as another kit produce more HP? I thought they were exactly the same. Did he change somthing in the design that made it make more hp? BTW, I was going to get a Turbolife I was on the first GB but it was taking longer than I was wanting to wait so I found a good deal on a MAM and jumped on it.
BTW: Jens kits are nice, they have good couplers, T-bolt clamps, and a bar and plate Core. Thats all you really need in a good kit. And like she said it is designed on the MAM's piping route.

Guys I think all he wants is the sound pshhhh.... Personally would just get a cold air intake and then the pshhhh becomes PSHHHH!!! Our cars were meant to run with a bpv so stick with it

Lol, I have been around wrecked cars for my whole life. without that crash bar if you get into a front end collision, and for the sake of the convo lets say it was on the front drivers side, without the crash bar that post that comes out and connects to the crash bar is going to fold up further than it would if the crash bar was there. If the crash bar was installed some of the force would have been transferred to the other post. Because it would have been trying to pull the pass post back and over too. In short, it ties the whole front end together and its not a great idea to remove it.
