i used to love macs and i still like them...simple and powerful...but i still need a small notebook for travelling...17in is pushing it a little...lol

Gotta give apple props for that groundbreaking display and the backlit keyboard is nice too.

But other than that, their hardware is behind PC hardware, and I won't comment on the OS, or this will quickly become a flamewar.

yeah agreed...i've seen this topic blow up before...the sad thing for apple is that so many companies are so PC integrated there's no chance of switching over...

apple is slowly making compatibility a non issue, granted it's gonna take lots of time, but I wouldnt say no chance...

Oh my god, that is awesome. Almost makes me regret buying a laptop for xmas. Grew up on macs and love them, but have used win for so long that would have problems going back to mac.
