Anything that helps the turbo spool faster will bring on more spike. It is the nature of turbo charged vehicles- especially one with a pea-shooter sized turbo ..

My DP should be on it's way to my house within this next week. I'm holding a steady 10psi and spiking to 12 at WOT. I haven't had a fuel cut issue yet. Will I still need to turn down my boost? If I hold at 10 and peak at 12, are you saying that I will still hold 10, but peak higher(like14 or so)? I just want to understand exactly what I'm getting myself into before I bolt this up. I was already prewarned about turning the boost down a notch, but wanted a better understanding...
