IMHO, these moldings are very generic.
They just cut different length and paint them to the color code.
I have them on, and they look different from the ones shown in the pic.
Yes - I just gave Dawn a call. I ordered white door moulding too and wanted to get the colors right. Very nice people.
Mine were exactly as shown in my picture... but in pearl white. The do seem short for the rear door. They are not very thick.
The only tricky part is getting these mounted in the right position, to protect you from low cars (Camry's) and taller SUV's (Highlanders). I put mine a inch too high to catch the doors of shorter vehicles.
A wider/thicker type of moulding would do a better job of protection, but these look great and will work in an SUV dominant world.
V8, they are the same company - same address. Basically, same price.
I wanted to make sure things were right so I call the "manufacturers" phone line. They did save me some on shipping to Hawaii (no free ground for us). And I appreciated the personal touch.
You could likely plug your order in the SportWing website with your Visa and get the same deal.
I guess it looks ok. i would never stick that on my vehicle. reminds of the dealer added trim from the 70's'. I'll park in the north 40 and take my chances.
My experiences tell me that,
you need two sets of side mouldings.
One is located higher to guard against doors or SUVs.
The other is located lower to guard against doors of lower sedans and coupes.
