Yep! Mine's the same here!

UPDATE!.......UPDATE!..........3 feet of snow as of 10:30PM and moe still coming down!

I wonder when I'll be able to 'drive' again?!

At least you guys are home. I'm out here in SanFran waiting for a flight because they cancelled mine earlier today. This stinks. Stuck in a hotel and not sure when I can even see my little Protege5 again!!!

You think that is a lot of snow?? This 12"+ storm up in Mass is sitting on top of about 24" of exisiting snow!!

My P5 got parked at the parking garage at my work today then they let us all out early so I drove home slow and parked her in my garage where she is sitting till I have to drive it to work possibly tomorrow. Just be carefull with your shovel when digging out, I hit my Mustang a few times when I was younger trying to dig it out and it marked the paint!

holy crap! and to think i was in shorts washing my car yesterday. never seen a storm that bad before.

(rofl)

lots of snow......oh man I almost busted a rib laughing so hard. I had other people in the office hear me laughing, and they came over and seen it too and started as well

Whew! I needed that today

Man, I wake up to that much about 4 times a week this year.

I was watching at your "blizzard" last night on TV. Granted, it didn't look very nice out down there, but that ain't no blizzard by our standards.

We just had a Freak Accident here in NFLD. one of the these really small ports ( port is even smaller then a town) got basically destroyed in a matter of minutes. There were a couple of ponds that got flooded out, and the water rushed towards the town from like 3 differenent ponds.

Well, because it's so cold out, the water basically froze right away. So, as you drive by, from what I'm told ( I live FAR away from Badger, NF) You look over and see what looks like an everyday pond in the Winter, frozen of course, then you notice that there's houses, cars, everything just frozen in it. They never had time to evacuate or get anything. Houses have solid ice up to the top of the doors, even windows on the 2nd floor of some houses. Cars comepletely stuck in frozen ice up past the mirrors and hoods.

It's sad really. But just a freak accident of nature, and most of these people are just getting by as it is so their screwed

s***, now I'm depressed again. :(

OH well, I'm over it now :)

Funny thing you should mention this. I bought some domain names last week, and yesterday a guy who works for Register.com called to confirm my order. He told me how it was where he is...in Nova Scotia! I was like damn!

Here in NJ we got almost 2 feet of snow...actually w/ the drift it turned out to be more like 3 feet of snow!

that is crazy .... i have only seen snow once in my life ..... and it did not even stick to the ground .... could be b/c i live in houston ..... i really hate the hot weather

I disagree. Snow is a beautiful thing! No extreme is good. Too hot, or too cold, no snow, or too much snow. I currently live in North Carolina, where we get almost everything mother nature has to offer (earthquakes excluded:D)

I used to live in Miami, Fl, but no more. I really like it here. The City of Raleigh was named again for the 2nd consecutive year, the 6th best place to live and work- Cary the # 4 safest city (town really) in North America!

Here's some info on our state for those interested:

It gets better: With $200k you can buy a 4 bedroom home in one of the best neighborhoods in the area!

Anyone wishing to relocate?:D

To the people who think snow sucks, well, do you remember the following wonderful little poem on snow by Emily Dickinson?

IT sifts from leaden sieves,
It powders all the wood,
It fills with alabaster wool
The wrinkles of the road.

It makes an even face
Of mountain and of plain,
Unbroken forehead from the east
Unto the east again.

It reaches to the fence,
It wraps it, rail by rail,
Till it is lost in fleeces;
It flings a crystal veil

On stump and stack and stem,
The summers empty room,
Acres of seams where harvests were,
Recordless, but for them.

It ruffles wrists of posts,
As ankles of a queen,
Then stills its artisans like ghosts,
Denying they have been.

- Emily Dickinson
