So I was driving to NYC, and somewhere around Mt. Pocono something like a stone or debris banged into the van, causing a dent with 2-3 scratches down in the lower panel of the rear passenger sliding door. It looks crappy. Is it worth repairing such as a spot repair or should I just leave the dent and apply some touch up paint and call it a day. The car is almost 3 years old and has 35k.

This is really a question that you have to decide on. You can probably do it yourself for $50 but you will have to patch and blend the paint yourself. Shop will obviously charge much more. I would guess in the 200-300 range if you want it done properly.

Popped the dent with pops-a-dent and touched it up followed by clear oat, looks 90% can't complain

Can't go wrong with Pops-a-dent and clear oats! 7 out of 10 horses agree, clear oats help maintain a showroom shine! LOL

Well, my iPhone like to autocorrect, clear coat to clear oats. Maybe I will take some oats and rub them around the scratch and see what happens. Maybe it will be better than scratch x lol

Google Translate and Autocorrect, without them the interwebs would be MUCH less interesting! I knew what you meant, glad you were able to do the repair yourself.
