avi to dvd format

i have a cd burner(not dvd burner) and just got a new dvd player with screen for my car and i was wondering if there is anyway to burn cool screen savers and avs (similar to the avs in win amp for those who have it)?

this page will tell you how to do everything. prepare to spend more than just a little time getting good at it. Main thing to remember when reading this page is that you are going to be downloading movies and then just encoding them and burning them. so skip all the parts of changing from dvd to avi to vcd. all you need is avi to vcd.
