Where did all of you who have the 2-1/16" autometer ultra-lite 0-20 psi boost guage get your T-fittings and 1/8" adapters???

got all the fittings from pepboys and the size is 3/16 X 1/8 X 3/16
and at idle i am running right around 20-22 in. of hg

Got my boost guage installed last night, can't stop looking at it! I am running about 20 in. of hg at idle as well. Going to install my mbc tonight. However, right now I am hitting right about 7 psi on the nose...Stock! What do you guys suggest I take it up to? I don't have the extra cash laying around for the FCD that Joe makes. I do have the NGK #7 copper plugs though. I need to know the safe limit if there is such a thing.

9 psi is safe. I would not suggest turning it up more then that. Dont be fooled by the guys running 12+ psi. They are mostly down south, and have hot temps, thus not having as dense air as we do up here in the north.

I also suggest getting a BOOK about forced induction, and learn about it. There is much more to it then jsut turning up boost. :D

Boost- what is that book called, I have seen it on one of the posts, but cannot remember the name?

BE CAREFUL WITH THAT KNOB!!!!

Where boost is concerned, it's definitely NOT a case of "if a little is good, then a lot is better"

More like "If a little is good, then a lot is (insert expensive noises here)"

That said, a little judicious increase is supposed to be ni--ice... I turned up the knob on my old 1.8T Passat wagon and it was joyful laughter all the way home... (laugh if you want, that thing was seriously fast - when chipped, was quicker than the MSP). I'm waiting for Mazda's ECU flash before doing anything engine-wise on the MSP, though. I like my warranty where it is, thanks.

ping-

I am paranoid as hell about that knob, but I am never going to boost over 9-10 psi. Seen too many people blow the hell out of their engines from overboost!

when i installed mine..i went to walmart n got a brass fishtank t....some vac hose..3/16" i think...dont remember....put the hard plastic line that comes from the gauge into the center T outlet..stuck it in a little bit...then took jb quik an sealed it in there...that parts universal id think and should work on any car....im not gonna say the rest of the install since it wasd on an eclipse..
