autocross

went to the holtville track by el centro. it was really fun and had plenty of track time compared to my local auto-x. i had a chance to take passengers, go as many laps as I could withstand, and there were even multiple cars on the track. Gosh, I need to get out more :) I had a blast. I did really good being my first time racing my msp. the stock tires need to go.

Also, I was really surprised getting up to an average of 95-100 mph on the straights.

Funny, I was pleasantly surprised by the stock tires when I autoxed my MSP today at Candlestick park.

The handling was AWESOME for a stock front driver!!!!! Just a bit of understeer that I reduced by changing my driving style.

I DID have an issue with a loud clunk in my front suspension under heavy braking. Anyone seen anything similar??

one way to also induce more oversteer is to add lil more pressure in the rear tires i believe.

i've got a clunk too in my DX, but i think my bushings may have been damaged when the car kissed a curb last month...
