Anyone replaced the glovebox light?

If you've replaced this or have a diagram on how to take it apart, I would greatly appreciate it if you can share some details. I can dig into and try to remove stuff but I am not a fan of Mazda material quality and would like to avoid breaking a snap/clip if I can avoid it. I am looking to add a simple N.C. toggle switch that will turn OFF the damn light instead of it staying on when the parking lights are on I want to eliminate any and all heat source in there (it melts chocolate at the moment).

Yes and it is a pain in the ass. You can either remove the screws holding it up to the dash and bent the top down far enough to wedge your hand or long needle nose pliers to pry up on the socket or remove your center radio stack and have at it through the side. Either way it's a real pita. Good luck!
