Another Anti-minivan, Ford Transit Connect

Being square it may make for more room inside. However, anything that looks like a cube on wheels doesn't get my vote ;)

Last company I worked for had the transit's as their work vans and if it is anything remotely close to them, it will suck. They are dogs on the highway and they have absolutely no pickup or go to them. Loaded down, they had a hard time getting up to highway speeds on on-ramps, and the best mpg's we ever saw was 24 mpg's highway. They are very top heavy too. No way would I ever consider them over a 5.

Please Don't get me wrong, I kinda like Ford (for the most Part) but this "tool Box" looking thing with No Handle on top I think will be just another nail in their coffin.

They suck! Why didn't Ford just stick with the C-Max micro van, instead of bringing the C-max hybrid car over here. Or maybe bring the hybrid and the C-Max microvan instead of the Transit?

Look similar to VW Eurovan, I had a 2002 Eurovan; lots of room (albeit my family refuses to sit on rear facing seats because they would get sea sick) but when the competition was bringing out dual powered sliding doors, VW decided that it was "okay" and "unique" to have one side manual door that was hard to open/close. If it was a cargo van (which is how they use it in Europe) then I guess it would be okay but for in the U.S., never really caught on. We wound up getting rid of it after few years. So Ford is trying to re-invent the wheel with this? tsk tsk tsk
