Android Auto on Mazda2 doesn't work?

Hi,

When I connect Android Auto on my Mazda2 the touch screen doesn't work, I assume it has been disabled for when you are driving?

Is there a way I can rectify this?

Or if I get a newer screen installed will that issue be resolved?
