I wonder how hard it wouldbe to get parts from Japan and put them on a US spec P5. I wonder how much it would cost too.
Anyone have any ideas of prices for that and also the cost of the FS-ZE engine? Just pondering ideas, maybe make the P5 a Sport20. Would be fun to do that instead of getting something else that has power and AWD.

The FS-ZE is a joke. AWD would be pretty cool however..Something I'd consider..except I'd need to fo a full lug conversion. Etc..Brakes..blah blah. Whats the cost up to? Figuring what? 10k for the AWD and brakes and another 10k for my boost? so what like 20k and i'd be happy..yeah..i need another beer.
why all this talk of 10K just for teh AWD?
couldnt you buy a used sport20 from a country that has em, do the ole chop it in half thing, and swap everything into your P5....
Cant imagine it costing more than 15K for the car and shipping, and you have a WHOLE lot more than just the AWD system.

There is no way I could afford to get an entire car shipped here at one time. It would help a lot to see exactly how things are mounted, but there is a huge difference between 15k and the estimate 5k the actual swap should cost.

isnt the fsze a high horsepower/low torque engine?? seems kinda useless to fit awd to a car with weak touque. although a fsde+hiboost will do the job really well

Damn Nate...oh yea!!! Did you ever get a chance to measure the distance between the kickpanel and the center hump where it meets the firewall on the right side of the car? Hey Nate...i have several pics of some of the things you want. I'll try and get them emailed tomorrow. You might have to remind me though.
