The problem as far at giving you a price is that we have no clue how much those parts will cost over there. We have all tried to help you and my question was not me laughing at you. I figured you "thought" insurance wouldnt cover it so I was trying to help you work through it. If it is in ur policy that if u drink and drive all is void... well then ur SOL.
So I will say again, the repairs will cost ALOT. Probably alot more then 8,000. My guess is that the parts alone will cost thousands more then that.

I've known people who have wrecked their cars and have it covered on their insurance via DUI. Grant it their rates shot sky high shortly after, not to mention having to carry and SR22 or something to that affect for a few years. People have had their cars covered even with road rage.... we have it for a reason. Did you wreck your crap on purpose? Id hope not but hey people do it all the time. Like previously mentioned it all depends on your insurance policy.
If I had to take a stab in the dark how much it would cost to repair your car i would say it really depends on the core support (some bolt in) and if the frame got tweaked. but i would say figure about a days worth of labor plus cost of part and paint. So i would say roughly 8-12k USD in damage without looking up the cost of parts
There is no stupidity exclusion in a U.S. based policy. So being a drunken idiot and crashing your car will not matter as long as you have collision coverage. I have no idea what the terms are in the UAE but if it's like other foreign countries, its no wonder he is S.O.L. based on the circumstances which contributed to the accident.

damn that sucks. How much of that was labor in hrs?
I have no idea. At first they didn't want to tell me anything, only with police report and the car. Both is still iwth the police. They also wanted 250dhs for the cost estimation (?!?). Finally they help me, so I don't know any details yet. You know they just saw the pictures...

Im sorry to hear that man... I truly dont know what I would do in your situation. I mean even though you mad a bad decision, I still feel bad for ya. Best of luck tho!!!

If you don't mind me asking... what was the total cost to repair? How's the car look and feel? Is it driving good?
Glad to see your back up and running. Lesson learned, we all make mistakes... it definitely could have been worse.
thanks for your interest. total cost was about $7.000,- repair at mazda would have cost about $15.000,-
because of the price I don't complain that they forgot to add one horn and that the paint is little rough - you know it looks like orange surface - I don't care.
It's driving fine again - I love this car.
Only the brakes are shaking when I push them - but it's always like that if you don't move a car for months.. Maybe I have to change the discs. I'll drive a few hundreds and check if they're getting better..
I have been to the UAE plenty of times in Dubai and I must say I would not drive there, specially after drinking 
. 120 MPH there is done by the taxi drivers I have been with. Glad you got your car back and you are happy with it. I wish you the best of luck driving there.
