AC Compressor and pass. fan both don't work! HELP!!

OK so this past weekend I installed a fmic, hard piping, BOV, and intake on my MSP. Shortly after driving it I noticed my passenger side fan was not kicking on. Then I noticed my AC compress was not turning on either.

FYI: I kept both stock fans when I installed this and my AC worked perfectly fine and was cold.

I checked all of the AC fuses and they were all good. I tried to check the AC relay by replacing it with another one in the fuse box and it did nothing. I thought maybe there was a short somewhere, so started to check all the wires around that area and noticed that one of the wires (negative on the harness side) that goes to the passenger fan connection had gotten hot to the point where it melted the plastic coating off of the wire, so I cut that section out and replaced it for good measure. Still the fan and compressor did not work. When I was installing my IC piping I cut a few parts on the driver side (lower area where the fender meets the bumper) and I relocated where one of boxes full of grounds was mounted (yellowish/clear box with all black wires going to it bolted on with a 10mm). I thought maybe it wasnt getting a good connection where I put it so I removed it, sanded down where it was mounted to bare metal for a better connection and remounted it and this still did not solve my problem. All the wires seem to be fine around that area and I am stumped. What is the correlation between the passenger side fan and AC compressor? Do they share any other type of relay or anything I should be checking?

Any help would be awesome seeing as though its is currently in the low to mid 90's where I am and no AC is frustrating.

from what I remember the passenger side fan has to be hooked up and running for the a.c. To work. Get a multi meter and see if you have a short somewhere

Could be a dumb question...but use the multimeter on the harness side of the plug to check voltage threw it?
