A P5 For me!

I finally bought a Protege5 yesterday, loaded too! Silver, Auto, Moonroof, 6-CD, Side Airbags, ABS, Pollished Alloys, Cassett, Bumber guard, and cargo net. Mazda just threw this one at the dealer. Sticker was 19,900, but my final price after fees and taxes(8.25%) was 17,900. Pretty good huh? I can't wait to pick it up at the end of the week. Well I guess im now apart of the P5 gang.

Not too bad with taxes and the rest of the baggage ...I know you didn't want a 5-speed manual, but I thought the "sport shift AT" was too sluggish.

Listed at $19,900? You should go back and renegotiate...I know probably too late...

Mazda has a $2250 rebate on the Protege 5 and most dealers are allowing $3000-3500 off sticker.

Anyways, it's all about how you perceived your deal.

I agree..should have shot for invoice instead....technically, you can go back and "re-deal" as you haven't taken delivery of the car yet.

17900 OTD isn't bad. Considering he had to have paid at least (8.25% of 16K) $1300 in sales tax alone. Plus registration which will be another $200, Doc, Dealer Prep and the rest the vehicle price was probably really close to $16K.

I got almost the same ride but in black and no cassette and with MT. I paid a total of $17500 with taxes (7% Philly tax) and tags.

I think I got a really good deal on the car. Beeing 18 and paying for the car in cash I dont care that much about a few hundred dollars. They took 3500 off the sticker.

I dont live in Arizona (yet) I live in Rochester, NY and I am going to college in Prescott, AZ. So I will make the long drive twice a year and Is why I chose the P5.
