I like most the changes. No more dual exhaust is weak.

I think Mazda will need to lighten the 2.5 NT CX7 by about 400 pounds to get acceptable performance.

I really like the updated interior. No more black lacquer crap or boring looking interior doors. Memory seats is a nice touch as is more secondary controls on the steering wheel. The added chrome on the front and rear of the 'upscale' blue one looks nice and speaking of blue...where the hell was that color when I bought mine?

I'm wondering if the single exhaust is for the 2.5L NT unit only b/c there is still a cutout for the dual in the bumper.

Exhuast very weak looking

When I first bought my CX7, the styling was what drew me into the car in the first place. This included the rear dual exhaust which really adds a nice element to the car. Without it - it just looks like a typical 4 banger from the back. This is also the mistake that GM made with the Saturn sports coupe.....as great as the rest of the car looks, the lack of a dual exhaust takes away from the aggressive sports car look.
