2007 Mazda5 - Squeaking over bumps

I have a 2007 Mazda5 with 67k miles. This is driven every day on roads with awful potholes. (No other way to get to work!) The struts were all blown out. I just replaced all 4 struts (with KYB brand) and sway bar links. The vehicle drives like new again, but still squeaks from each corner when I go over bumps. Where should I start looking for these squeaks?

The squeak is probably coming from the rears. I had this problem after lowering the vehicle and quickly realized what I had done. I fully tightened the rear shocks with the vehicle still in the air. When I had it in the rack for the alignment, I loosened the rear shocks with the vehicle weight still on it and then retightened them. Problem gone.

I had to lube the sway bushings on my 2010 already, might be worth checking them.

Does anyone know for sure if the 19mm Prothane polyurethane rear sway bar bushings fit our MZ5 OEM sway bar? The thickness of our rear sway bar is 20mm thick ( I measured it with a caliper).

I bought a set of Prothane 19mm rear sway bar bushings and just installed them. No noise at all, zero, not a peep. Could aftermarket polyurethane bushings be the definate answer? We will see with time. By the way, the Prothane 12-1105 bushing kit is only listed for the Mazda3 but it does fit the Mazda5 sway bar. Note: the bushings are bigger then the OEM bushings, so you will have to also buy the rear sway bar bushing U-brackets from a 2012 and newer Mazda5 so that they fit. I already had these brackets since I had upgraded to the newer bushings as well so it worked out nicely. Also, you will have to cut and remove the small rubber band that is held in place by an aluminum metal band that acts as a stopper for the OEM bushings in order for the Prothane bushings to fit. It's a very easy upgrade that took 20 mins to do. I will report back as time goes by.

My 09 was thumping and squeaky in the rear end. Rear shocks were toast. Replacing those got rid of the thump but the squeaky was still present. Shot the rear bushings with some grease from autozone ($4) and the squeaky is gone. Hopefully for a while. If not it was easy enough to do. Eventually I'll have to replace the bushings, but for now the grease is working.
