Hello out there, im new to the scene. Just brought a 2007 Mz 5 Sport and want to put some 19" on it, what im looking at are some 19"x8.5 rims with a 43 offset. I also brought a coil over kit, will the rims fit with a 215 or a 225 tire.
With that offset you'll probably have to pull your camber in to at least -2 to not rub in the front. I would go with a skinnier tire if possible (215/35-18). You'll have to roll the fenders in the rear to clear unless you want to crank in your camber to -2.5 degrees or higher. You can reduce some of this by rolling the fender (there's a 17mm lip). I would recommend a +48 or +50mm offset wheel to make things a bit easier. This is assuming a 1.3/1.4" drop like the H&R Sport springs.
I posted this same answer under your other post in the wheel fitment thread. You'll probably want to stick with just one of the posts and not continue to double up.
That's my whip. I am running a 19x8.5 35et up front and a 19x9.5 40et in the rear. The tires are sized 225 up front ant 235 in the rear. I am running the Tein s-tech springs for the Mazda3. My camber after lowering is -1.3 up front and 2.5 rear. I had to roll the rear fenders, but the fronts didn't rub at all. I think with the 43et on the 8.5, you should be fine. Post some pics when you're done.
