Dana you lazy moderating bastard!Well, Spec calls my clutch a stage 3. If i want to reccomend the clutch, I'm going to be lazy and call it a Spec stage 3. If they want the info on it, they can go check it out.

Yeah yeah. If someone asks me info, I'll give it, but "Spec Stage 3" rolls off the tongue easily.TurfBurn said:Dana you lazy moderating bastard!![]()

You can call Spec directly and buy one if you want. Beau hasn't gotten back to me about it yet but I bet he can get you one too.KzA said:Anyone have ANY information about this clutch? I am about to call MPNick and order my clutch, so I need to decide which to go with...
Good new, It should hold!! (headbang)TurfBurn said:I actually just checked some compressor maps... and by some rough estimation I'm good to about 20 psi or better on the 16G which is plenty for my plans.
No one has actually sheared a gear or twisted a shaft inside the tranny that I personally know of yet... so the driveshafts are already the weaker link as those HAVE been broken several times. Although supposedly te 460hp puerto rico P5 has torn up some gears... but that's a bit more power than anyone else is making... and he is dragging it all the time... soo....
Interesting, I got the stage two because I was worried. Next time I need to replace, I'll look one stage higher.Kooldino said:civilised for a puck, it's certainly tolerable, but it's not quite as smooth from 0mph as the ACT was.

I spoke with Beau earlier and the problem is on Spec's end. He has left messages by phone and email in hopes that they will get the info to him. Believe me, I will post it when I find out..KzA said:update? ttt
(werd) How much are ya getting it for?KzA said:well, I should be getting a Apex'I AVC-R soon, which can handle gear-based boost control....That should be nice to have my MP3 Programmed for 6psi in first, 8 in second, and 12 psi for 3rd 4th and 5th...That should be a bad ass step for the protege boost traction issue.....
I am really starting to believe that the only way we are going to get into the 12s is with progressive boost control, and the AVC-R is the way to go..Honestly, if that guy could drop a 13.1 running only 12psi and slicks, 14psi with progressive boost control should be in the 12s
Very Nice! Both can be considered Street Discs because they are sprung hub.jrodhotrod said:And both of those clutches include "street discs"?
What material are they made out of?
