100mph noise

Has anyone else noticed a whistling noise when approaching speeds of 100mph. It seems to be coming from the area around the lower right corner of the windshield (looking from the drivers seat). I can tell is is some aerodynamic noise that starts at about 90-95mph, and peaks at about 100. At first I thought it was the windshield wipers, but I turned them on and the noise didn't go away. I am starting to think that it maybe the side mirror that is introducing the noise. Haven't had a chance to fold it in and try it. The noise just gets kind of annoying when you are trying to concentrate on driving and this whistle pops up. Any ideas?

I have it too.. SOOOO annoying... It is the windshield.. on mine it is the top part if the windshield right above my head, if I press on it, the noise gets louder. I would take it to mazda, but what would I say?? "My windshield leaks when Im going 100-120" I dont think that would fly straight...

This is superspud by the way, not mx3ownzj00

There are a few threads on this, it is the rubber around the windshield. There is a way to fix it, that consist of a lil silicone bead in the rubber gasket.

do you just peal it back and put the silicon on? or what? b/c that s*** can be tricky and I dont want to make it worse than it is already...

No sirens! On my way home from Houston, I go down a pretty desolate road where I get on it from time to time. Usually to pass someone. It just kind of scares me when the sound starts....reminds me of a warning buzzer (probably something mazda built into the car to keep us from speeding, j/k). What if I was on the oval at Texas World Speedway, would I get a different response from you guys? I guess I am just used to the quietness of my old sc400 or my 300ZX. It's my wifes car so I guess I don't drive it too much to make me wanna take it in to get fixed.

Thanks for the replies!
