ZO6 or the Viper

I know this isn't exactly the right place to post this but I was wondering....I am headed down to vegas in two weeks and am planning on renting an exotic car. Now mind you I am trying to stay under the 400 dollar range. I have rented the corvette convertible before and it was a blast and I got it up to 150. It was amazing. I am saving a ton of money on my flight because I work for fedex so that means I fly for pretty much free (taxes). I don't gamble (unless you consider putting an 50,000 dollar car into my hands gambling). So this is basically my play money. They both cost the same and the viper is something I have wanted to try but I just got done with watching a bunch of clips seeing the ZO6 beating the viper every time. The vet was so much fun to drive but when you show vet pics to everyone they are like hoo huuum....it's a vet, so what. The vet clearly out preforms the viper in overall preformance. AS you can see I am torn. I am leaning more toward the vet but am trying to convince myself that this might be the only time I get to drive a viper.....and sorry for the long write up (RTM)

I would check out the viper, if you already drove the Corvett, you would probably have the same experience, give or take the options diference!

viper, maybe thats because i dont see them much. corvette, well they are everywhere.

VIPER.....like mentioned....its a vette....right? everyone sees vettes around....you just don't see that many Vipers running around.....give yourself a NEW experience....

I don't know if you are single or not.....but personally.....I believe that in Vegas...the Viper would have more LADY APPEAL.....if ya know what I mean.

hmm...that's a toughy...i prefer the Z06 over a viper anyday as far as a car i would rather own...but driving a viper would be pretty bad ass. hmm... i guess if i were going to rent one i'd probably go for the viper.

and to everyone that says it's "just a vette"...it's not...it's a Z06 which = sex on wheels.

Thanks for the opinions guys. I really wanted people to convinve me to rent the viper and it looks like it is happening....and i agree 100% that anyone who doesn't reallize that the ZO6 is a better all around car just doesn't know. If you want to see some good vet clips go here and click on the videos about the vets http://www.spdkilz.com/videoaudio.html These videos make me so jealous and wish for a supercharged V8 in my week pro5. (rockon)

go for the Hennessy Viper 800TT. But if you can't get that or if it's too much money then go for the Viper anyway, but not the new model.

viper with a few suspension upgrades... sickkkkk
lol wtf, im pretty sure the suspension on the viper pwns in its stock form, more than most people can handle anyway. thats why all the car magazines reccomend driving lessons if you buy one and plan on driving fast

Viper. they're' both stupidly fast cars though, so if the vettes are beating the vipers, ... who cares? chances are you won't be racing the other one while you're there, so enjoy the experience of a finely tuned V10.

finely tuned V10.
haha finely tuned my ass, the thing is like 8.3 liter and only makes 500hp

finely tuned would be like the new M5 motor, 5 liter v10, 507 hp, 8250 redline

viper, i'm sure there's vettes all around vegas, and while vipers probably aren't uncommon, at least it'll stand out more. 99% of the people out there won't notice the difference between a regular vette and a z06 (outside it's very small) so get the viper and stand out

sorry, I meant the exhaust note.
lol, you better have. anyone who can honestly say the viper motor is tuned well is kinda out of it

plus if its a new viper, you can get the convertible, that way lots of womens can throw their panties at you
