Well, you all know what happend to my engine, but now I think I have a better idea why what happened, happened. I just got off the phone with a Zex Tech, and he informed me that Nitrous Express and Nirous Works fuel/nitrous jets are the same as the ones used with Zex! This is important because if I ever want to run Zex again, I may "turn it down" a bit to a 45 shot due to higher compression. I also asked him if the way I had my fuel pressure line t'd off to the intake manifold may have caused my engine's demise. He informed me that this would cause an inaccurate fuel pressure, and thus detonation. Phuck! 
Lesson learned. I probably still won't run it soon due to ECU differences. I will see.
