DONE!

seriously, though, thinking of a motor mount change, and shifter bushings...

would like to do some stereo upgrades, since the song that is always playing (BRIDGESTONE) drowns out the tunes. :)

All I have is a Cobb intake and a CS MM insert so far.

The only thing else that essentially needs to be changed is the suspension, which will probably be in the form of the Mazdaspeed coilover setup...

I may get an AP eventually, but the next thing on the agenda is certainly the suspension.

Done:
1. Complete stereo upgrade, including HU, speakers, amps, sub, wiring.
2. Stewie window vinyl: adds 10 whp!
3. TWM short shifter with bushings
4. Cobb SRI

To do possibly:
1. Motor mounts, but I may wait until warranty is expired.

Done.
Bov
Intake
Inserts
Springs
Hids
Led fogs(with indepen. Fog mod)
Leds in and out
Boost gauge
Infinity kappa int. Speakers(ready to be installed)
Jl audio amp for int. Speakers(ready to be installed)

Ready to pull the trigger when I find,
Testpipe used for good price
Used su mm to swap with inserts

Next(tax return)
Piasini tune
(System)
Pioneer z1 jl audio monoblock amp
Currently have two 15's but looking for to jl 15's

Fmic after current" to do" list

Got JDM rainguards en route. Once those are on, I think I'm pretty much done. Maybe Homelink and/or audio down the road.

Done:
Cobb SRI
Forge BPV
SU shifter bushings

Next:
Black out emblems: shipped
Rims: winter needs to end now!
Cobb AP or some sort of tune
Hood stripes
Coilover kit
the list goes on and on

The TRZ mounts are a bit harsh for my taste. Plus they make the transmission sound like a moose is dying in it. CP-E mounts are looking like they'll be the best compromise between engine rigidity and HNV.

Really? Why does it change the transmission sound?

I may have to find someone that has upgraded mounts to see how they feel. I want the durability, but would prefer stock feel, meaning minimal vibration. If it limits wheel-hop, that would be great, but I'm not lookng for racecar stiffness or anything. I just don't want my engine laying on the freeway one day.

Brrrddd clack (clutch in) CLACK BZZZZT BRRRRDDDDD. It sounds pretty insane man!

Weird! That's the first I heard of this. My wife already says my SRI sounds like an animal is dying! The other descriptions I have gotten about it: 1. the wife: "like I'm dragging a trash can", 2. my friend: says it sounds like a miter saw just before sinking into the wood. LOL!

My favorite desciprion though was yours: "like God is sucking up the ocean through a straw, followed by (some small animal) sneezing." Classic!

Haha well I love the sound of an intake! The sound of the internals of a transmission... not so much.

Harshness, Noise, Vibration. The reason our motor mounts suck. The car companies do what they can to reduce those three factors.

All trans mounts on the market will cause the noise levels to be more apparent.

done:
intake
intercooler
bypass valve
boost gauge
dash hawk
tranny mount
shifter bushings (I've had them for a month but I haven't put them in yet lol)

incoming:
different intercooler
turbo inlet

to do:
tires and/or wheels
turbo back exhaust
coil overs

Well, that sucks! Anyone know if we can pilfer from the 2010? It is suppose to have the same engine, but would the mounting locations change?

Edit: Dude, are you on vacation now? Just noticed the Hawaii location.
