WTF! dumb ass woman!!!!!!!!! shoulda got BOTH your legs broken, ive driven RX-8's and the brake and gas pedal are NOT close to each other, even if she tried to slam on the brakes there would be little chance she would hit the gas by accident to cause the car to jump, if that rx8 was a auto the brake pedal is bigger and therefore harder to mash the wrong pedal that crash is 100% stupidity

If it was stick, she probably doesn't know how to drive 6spd & launched it or if it was auto, maybe she hit the gas, then realized the hand brake was on, & took it off while on the gas.

Damn you guys are ****** up. I would have been more concerned about the safety of the woman than the car, any car. Obviously the car will be replaced.
A 53 yr old woman working there is not living the high life. She could have been a widowed home maker who was suddenly thrust back into the work force.

I think she was in an RX-7....for it to "rocket" out of there....rocket and RX8 are not words often heard together!! Last RX8 I saw race ran a best 10.1s against my best 10.5s (in a stock P5).

Funny how people constantly do this, going into walls or through store fronts. Honestly I can't see how people sometimes do it, no car moves that fast that quickly to the point where you couldn't hit the brakes. Guess they just panic and forgot the brake exists for a reason.....
