Yokohamma Parada Spec-2

OK, everybody flame away. I'm running Wan Li S-1088s & have thoroughly enjoyed the wet/dry traction, quietness, tread life & last but certainly not least...the fact that a set of these cost me 380.00 mounted & balanced vs. 500.00 - 650.00 for any other brand that's comparable in tread life/performance from anywhere online or drive up. Online is OK until you add in shipping then it's no different than drive up. Drive up, nobody has a set of anything I'm after without ordering & coming back days later. This place I go is not a franchise place, but he always has these in stock & in my size, no crowd scene wait thing to put them on and very competitive pricing soooooooooooooo......I'll be back when it's time for another set. The set on the car now has 30k on them with about 1/3 the tread still left & still no sign of hydroplane unless 75mph+ with lots of water on the road in the middle of a rainstorm. We don't have actual winter so cannot speak to their capabilities or not in that respect.

I got yokohama parada spec 2's. They stick but they seem to be wearing out pretty quick and ive been babying them. I cant launch my car unless i get harder motor mounts. The tires are to sticky for stock mounts if you want to launch. Around turns i have no complaints. I will rebuy these tires unless i find something else better.

Yeah, these sticky tires thrash your stock mounts, and in turn your tranny and shift linkage too. I've had to replace all the above. You should upgrade your mounts asap if you are going to launch a lot.

If you want bang for your buck I would go with either Kumho 712, or Yoko Es100's. Both drive great, Yokos wear faster though.

kumho's suck imo...had a set on ADR rims i used to have.....didnt like them that much....

my fuzion ZRI's on my Rev rims were better than those
