Yellowspeed Coilover Problem

I recently installed YellowSpeed Coilovers and a Progress RSB. The cornering is fantastic, but I'm running into a harshness problem. The car oscillates repeatedly over small bumps to the point where it will make my neck hurt. This can go on for something like 30 minutes on the highway. Specifically, this was worst on the newly paved section of 87 south on the way to New Jersey. I have the coils set to the recommended setting from YellowSpeed (12 from softest in the front, 8 from softest in the rear). I only lowered it about 1.5". If anyone has also run into this problem, please let me know. I'm not entirely sure where to start to fix this. Has anyone tried reducing the preload on the YellowSpeed coilovers?

Go softer as mentioned above, if it is bad enough you may have to replace the springs with softer springs as well. But this is one of the main reasons I don't think coilovers belong on a daily driver, the ride is just too harsh for public roads.

how did you lower them? Did you raise the spindle mounts or lower the springs? If you lowered the springs, you might be bottoming out the struts.

I'm more awake now.. Happy New Year! I adjusted the coilovers per the installation manual. The problem I was running into wasn't really harshness. It was a bounciness/oscillation on smooth roads when maintaining high speed (65-70). It almost felt as though there was no damping. After I softened the front, I drove from Trenton, NJ to Providence, RI around NYC with almost no problem. The car handled the rough roads fine. There was a moment when it got bouncy for a minute, but then it went away. Very odd. It could be something else, but I'll keep monitoring it to see if the problem resurfaces.

After a few other projects, I'd like to tune the suspension using this procedure.
