Xenon level adjustment

Hi,

After browsing through the forum, I can't find how I can adjust the level of my xenon headlights. In my opinion the lights are shining too low. Does anyone know where I can find the screw to adjust the level of the headlights ?

Thanks in advance.
BB.

With Xenon headlights there is no manual switch since Xenons are levelled automatically. However there should be screw somewere to mechanically adjust them.

no, mazda maintained cost effectiveness in the mazda3 and made a little switch so that you could manually level your headlights.

there should be a little I/II/III switch next to the dash-light controller, it sets the light angle to higher or lower... the manual gives a guide for what position to use depending on where weight is in your car...

that is, of course, unless you used aftermarket HID's...

Did I understand this right? You installed a/m HID's? If you did, can you briefly detail your experience with them?

Thanks!

o! so that is what the switch is for! i don't own a 3 but i was at a dealer and asked him to tell me what the switch is for and he said that it was for adjusting the colour temperature?!?! and this was the car in the showroom so the headlights were shining onto the wall and i said.... er..... i don't see the color changing..... and he said,... o ... its to adjust the brightness to look like daylight or not.... DUH!..... why are salesman so dumb???? i thought you would work at a job that you would enjoy doing and actually know something about the job, car salesman that dunno crap should be caped at making 15k per year..... i mean they could be giving out all this false information to buyers who were car illiterate and just make up crap to get the deal through.....
