But the 3 motors is very similar in design, so one would/can only assume the crank wheel sensor is the same (cost issue).
Anyway, if someone has a speed 3, speed 6, or CX-7 workshop manual, and can scan me a page of the crank sensor wheel, I can start passing information to Haltech. They personally belief it is the same crank sensor wheel as the WRX, but we can't verify until we have a picture of it.
I have the factory workshop manual for the speed3, I will try to take time to take a look on this, Can I get a rebate from HALTECH for this?

BTW, My email is: mnet25 yahoo.ca
I would be more than happy to help!
Hey borderline, could i get some copies of that too, especially the engine control/EFI section and wiring diagram for the ECU??
I would like to help as much as possible with the development of a Haltech application for these cars, i honestly feel by what ive read so far it really isnt that hard to get a Haltech to run these engines, even with the direct injection. Also, there are 2 options for the fuel pump control, from what ive seen one runs all the time (in the tank) and the booster pump is controlled by the ECU and is either under pulsewidth control from the ECU or is just an on/off deal, which ever of the 2 options it is, its more than likely the Haltech E8/E11 will be able to control it since they have RPM vs. Load maps that can be used in conjunction with the PWM outputs. And i have seen some datalogs from a guy with a mazdaspeed6 where you can clearly see that injector pulsewidth looks pretty much the same as your average car, with the exception of course that the injectors are super high flow and there is a powerful booster pump feeding them.
So, any cooperation from anybody is well appreciated, a service manual to go over, and hopefully a gineapig to work would be the best.
If i can answer any Haltech questions please ask me and ill do my best to provide an answer. Also, i may be wrong, but doesnt the Interceptor look a heck of a lot like the XEDE?

Its probably the same box outside, but different hardware manufacturer inside, or best case scenario, the XEDE is an interceptor that these guys sell under their own name.
