An "easy out" is basically the same as what Fish is describing but it goes into your drill like a drill bit. It is reverse cut so as it turns it bites into the hole you made and backs the stud out. You tap it into the hole so it grabs and then put the drill on it or just clamp a vise grip on the end to turn it with. Ilike the drill cuz it allows you to exert downward pressure as you turn the bit. Set your drill to "very slow". They are made in different sizes to fit different size holes. Every auto parts store has them.

I use them all the time overseas works like a charm!

Just got back from getting an alignment finally, my two front tires are wore on the inside and need replacement. Also picked up the oil pan gasket, oil and oil filter, and vac lines. Only thing left to do prior to turbo install, is get the BOV flange welded on.

Tomorrow broken stud gets removed from the turbo and intercooler gets mounted

And they do not drill out too easily. I use them all the time. A must have in any garage.

Alright so, the stud removal was going pretty good until the drill bit broke off into the stud so we had to drill the whole thing out. Tomorrow the hole gets re-tapped.

Also got the FMIC mounted and got an idea of where the BOV is gonna go. The car is currently sitting w/o a bumper because we had to cut some of the fog area to fit the cold pipe and it got dark so I just said **** it til tomorrow. Now, fail pics!
