this is neox: yea we went through a lot of the wiring diagram and it looks like pin 6 and pin 64 on the ecu are related to whether or not you are in P/N or in a load bearing gear, or whether or not the neutral switch is kicked in or not (for a stick)...we tried pin 6 last night, but we will try pin 64 today as well

we will let ya guys know what we find out...after I get back from this I'll do a quick write up on the swap....no pics or anything, but the actual swap is fairly easy

yea just be sure to have a hoist of some sort to pull the engine...it's a million times easier to just pull the engine and do everything in the engine bay that way lol

I just swapped a harness on my talon with the engine and tranny in the bay. (to lazy to pull it again) That sucked.....(bang)

Hey Dubb...tell neox he has a interested buyer on his forged internals and that he needs to respond before I change my mind...i mean he changes his mind. lol.

oh yeah..good luck. lol

Update: **** my life.

Lol jk jk. I've been working all day every day for the last three days. I've got a LOT of s*** done but there's still a good amount to go. I can honestly say that I wish I would have gone a different route with the intercooler but it's not that bad I guess. So far I haven't run into any more major road blocks. I'm just tired and my back hurts. I hope to get the car running in a couple of days. Dub, unless you have someone there that's done a turbo install on the car before, set aside a week to do the install just to be safe. Around half of my first day was spent swapping the valve body so all in all I've spent around 30 hours on the install of the turbo so far.

Hope all is well with the transmission swap. I'm VERY glad that I didn't do it.

i would have happily come over for helping you bro.

metallic's kit. I have so much in my head but I'll do a complete writeup along with all the videos I've taken so far in a few days hopefully. I just don't have the patience to do any of that stuff right now.

oh and thanks Damian I know you would have. It would have been cool to finally meet you and have you there but I'll be honest when I say that I'm happy that i'm doing it myself. I've learned a LOT from the install already and I'm really proud of the progress I've made.
